Annual Events
Redland Festival
A tradition at the park since 1976, the Redland Festival is held in January among the parks lush tropical fruit trees. Young and old enjoy arts and crafts demonstrations, live music, strolling entertainment, delicious foods, wildlife exhibits and puppet shows. The event also offers an opportunity for local nurseries to display and sell the rich variety of plants grown in the Redland.
Asian Culture Fesitval
The wide variety of Asian fruits, vegetables and spices grown at the Fruit & Spice Park make it an ideal setting for a celebration of Asian culture and food. Festival-goers enjoy Asian arts, crafts, and entertainment, highlighted by a large
selection of Asian food at this annual event. Children receive an “Asian Passport” in which they have stamped at each exhibit booth and redeem for a special gift. The festival, which is held in March, is sponsored by the Thai-American Association of South Florida, the Miami-Dade County Asian Advisory Board and Miami-Dade County Parks.
Tropical Ag Fiesta
Established over 75 years ago as a mango festival by the Florida Mango Forum, the Tropical Ag Fiesta offers an old-fashioned Florida fun day for the whole family. The two-day Fiesta held in June features cooking demonstrations, gardening tips, plant sales, educational talks by experts on tropical fruits and plants, grafting demonstrations, food booths, park tours and down to earth children's activities.
The Tropical Ag Fiesta is organized and presented by The Tropical Fruit Growers of South Florida, Southern Florida Tropical Growers, Inc. and the Fruit & Spice Park.
